April 14–16 will be a key date for professionals from the food and gastronomy industries. During these days, the International Food and Beverage Trade Fair WorldFood Poland, held jointly with Gastrotargi SMAKKi, will take place at EXPO XXI in the heart of Warsaw. It is the largest event of its kind in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, continuously expanding with new formats and dedicated specialist zones. The atmosphere of interactive accompanying events and a space conducive to exchanging experiences make the fair a memorable occasion and strongly support business relationship building.
The combination of WorldFood Poland with Gastrotargi SMAKKi strengthens the scale and business relevance of the event, offering in one place and at one time access to a comprehensive range of Polish and international producers. The exhibited assortment includes food products, beverages, alcoholic drinks, organic and functional foods, dietary supplements, as well as raw materials and food additives. The offer is complemented by technologies, packaging solutions and logistics services dedicated to the industry, including those supporting the cold chain.
“We have created a dynamic, vibrant platform that enables practical presentation of products and accompanying services, enriched by a high-value content program. The synergy between the food market and the HoReCa sector is a key driver of growth for the entire food industry, as both segments are closely interconnected – in terms of supply chains, consumer trends, innovation and cost efficiency,” emphasizes Agnieszka Szpaderska, Director of Business Development and Strategic Projects.
This comprehensive approach allows visitors to meet participants from across the entire food value chain who jointly create product value at different stages – from taste and quality to safety, convenience and branding. For exhibitors at WorldFood Poland and Gastrotargi SMAKKi – producers, processors and distributors – the event is an ideal opportunity to reach representatives of retail and wholesale chains, restaurateurs and chefs.

Leading B2B trade fairs driving business growth and expansion
It is worth noting that last year’s edition attracted nearly 7,000 professionals, while more than 350 exhibitors from 30 countries presented their offers. The event integrates all links of the food supply chain in one place and time: agri-food production, food processing, distribution and trade. The organizer forecasts even greater interest in this year’s edition.
A new feature will be the Exporter Zone, created for companies planning expansion into Central and Eastern European markets. Entrepreneurs will be able to obtain practical support, consult export strategies and establish direct relationships with foreign partners. An important element of the event are the VIP Buyer & Hosted Buyer programs, which connect buyers from Poland and Central and Eastern Europe with exhibitors, enabling meetings to be scheduled in advance.
The content program will address the most important issues for the food and gastronomy sectors, including the competitiveness of the Polish agri-food industry in the context of new EU trade agreements and building a strong “Poland” brand in the food & beverage category. Discussions will also cover legal regulations, food safety and quality, as well as challenges in supply chains involving cooperation between producers, logistics operators, carriers and retail chains. A key part of the program will focus on consumer analyses for 2025–2030 and evolving consumer needs.
Emotions, flavors and creativity – the culinary heart of the joint event
The concept of combining WorldFood Poland with Gastrotargi SMAKKi brings new energy driven by emotions and experiences accompanying culinary competitions and shows. Among the highlights will be the “Golden Artichoke” competition dedicated to plant-based cuisine, the Street Food Masters Championship featuring creators presenting original concepts and bold flavor combinations, as well as coffee competitions and shows – all carried out in the spirit of striving for the highest quality and mastery of flavor composition. International culinary inspiration within the “Flavors of the World” series will be provided, among others, by experts in Italian and Thai cuisine. National pavilions will allow participants to discover a wealth of tastes and inspirations from around the globe.
Thanks to the joint event concept, professionals from the food and HoReCa industries gain access to suppliers of agri-food products and flavors from different parts of the world, often unavailable in regular sales. Therefore, visiting national pavilions is a unique opportunity to draw inspiration useful for menu development.
Authentic emotions, hands-on experiences and direct contact with products make this industry gathering one that remains in participants’ memories for a long time. Conversations start at the stand and end with business decisions – contracts, ideas for offer development or a fresh perspective on changing consumer needs. The shared exhibition space, culinary competitions, tastings and the content program create a natural environment for building relationships and cooperation. It is a conscious step into the vibrant rhythm of the food and gastronomy market. It is already worth planning your participation.
