
This year’s edition of Fruit Logistica in Berlin once again confirmed its position as the world’s leading trade fair for the fresh fruit and vegetable industry. The event brought together thousands of professionals from across the entire supply chain – from growers and exporters to logistics operators and retail chains – creating a space for real business discussions and product premieres.
A strong focus was placed on:
automation and robotics in packing and sorting processes,
AI-driven solutions and data analytics in quality control,
sustainable packaging aligned with new EU regulations,
technologies reducing food waste and improving cold chain efficiency.
New fruit varieties with enhanced climate resilience and premium products responding to growing consumer expectations in terms of quality and health also attracted significant attention.
Fruit Logistica 2026 served as a meeting point for representatives from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. The increasing interest in emerging markets and developing trade hubs once again underlined the truly global character of the event.
During this year’s edition, Poland Fruits was also present, actively promoting Polish fruit and vegetable companies on international markets. Our participation in Berlin provided an opportunity to:
establish new business contacts,
meet importers and distributors from key markets,
showcase the potential of Polish fresh produce,
discuss export development opportunities and the strengthening of the “Poland” brand in the fresh produce category.
Polish companies once again demonstrated their competitiveness in terms of quality, production volume, and their ability to meet the requirements of international retail chains.

The direction: efficiency and sustainability
This year’s edition clearly showed that the future of the fresh produce sector will be built on:
digitalization and automation,
transparency and traceability,
cost optimization,
environmentally responsible solutions.
Fruit Logistica 2026 once again proved to be a global platform for premieres, innovation and strategic decisions for the entire sector. For Poland Fruits, it was a time of intensive promotional activity and another step towards strengthening the international position of Polish producers and exporters.
