At medFEL, the Fruit & Vegetable Sector Takes Center Stage
On April 28–29, 2026, medFEL will bring together professionals from across the Fruit & Vegetable sector at the Perpignan Exhibition Centre.
Organized in the Occitanie region by AD’OCC, the Regional Agency for Attractiveness and Development, in partnership with SPAS Organisation, medFEL has established itself as a strategic milestone for the French fruit and vegetable industry.
A dynamic crossroads of ideas and innovation, medFEL gathers exhibitors and visitors to share expertise, build partnerships, and anticipate the sector’s evolution. Over two intensive days, the industry ecosystem decodes market trends, unveils summer harvest forecasts, and assesses societal expectations—making medFEL the place where the sector stays ahead of the curve.
The 2026 edition features a rich and engaging conference program addressing key industry challenges, including:
Organic farming
CAP policies
Agricultural risk management
Sustainable logistics
Operational performance
Orchard management
Two days to meet leading experts, challenge established ideas, and explore solutions shaping the future of the industry—from field to fork.
5,000 professional visitors expected
250 exhibitors expected
24 conferences, including 1 exclusive Grand Debate
4 summer fruit harvest forecasts
30 international buyers
Building on the success of 2025, medFEL renews its exclusive Grand Debate, focusing this year on a critical issue for the entire sector:
To drive this high-level discussion, medFEL will bring together two leading industry figures representing complementary perspectives from production and distribution.

Apple and plum grower in Tarn-et-Garonne, President of the French National Fruit Producers’ Federation (FNPF) and Vice-President of the CTIFL.
An orchard grower operating a 60-hectare farm with three partners and a member of the Blue Whale cooperative group, Françoise Roch produces apples, plums, and table grapes. A committed advocate of collective action, she has been deeply involved in the fruit and vegetable sector for many years. President of the FNPF since 2020 and Vice-President of the CTIFL since 2024, she promotes a structured and forward-looking vision for the industry, particularly advocating stronger connections between research and professionals to build a more united and resilient supply chain.

Partner at Coopérative U, National Fruit & Vegetable Category Co-Lead, and CEO of Super U Bonne (Haute-Savoie).
Having joined the retail sector in 2007, Mickaël Alagapin has built his career entirely within the U brand. After managing his first store in Champagne-Ardenne, he now co-manages the Super U store in Bonne with his wife. The grandson of farmers and a self-described man of action, he has long been committed to strengthening agricultural supply chains, first locally and later regionally. Since January 1, 2025, he has co-led the national fruit and vegetable category alongside Jeff Mahintach, aiming to reinforce partnerships between producers and distributors.
Through these complementary career paths, medFEL brings together the voices of production and distribution—two essential links in the value chain that must collaborate more closely to share agricultural risk more effectively and develop balanced, transparent, and resilient supply chain models.
The Agora conferences will complement the flagship debate, offering practical insights and forward-looking perspectives on the major challenges facing the fruit and vegetable sector.
All conferences are held in French only, without translation.
