ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA has announced the opening of registration for one of its key industry events – SE ASIA Meet Up 2026, which will take place 18–19 May 2026 in Bangkok. The event is designed for growers, suppliers, retailers, and logistics experts from the fresh produce sector looking to expand their presence in the rapidly growing Southeast Asian market.
The meeting is co-organized with Fruitnet in collaboration with several industry associations, including the Myanmar Avocado Producer and Exporter Association (MAVO), Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producer and Exporter Association (MFVP), Thai Agricultural Wholesale Market Association (TAWMA), and The Philippine Exporters Confederation (PHILEXPORT).
SE ASIA Meet Up continues the success of the ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA Meet Ups series in 2025, which brought together more than 2,200 industry professionals across five key markets. The upcoming edition in Bangkok aims to become an important platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and exploring new business opportunities across the ASEAN region. Organizers expect to welcome industry leaders from over 30 countries worldwide.
As Furkan Polat, co-CEO of the Turkish company MBA Yazilim, emphasizes:
“ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA SE ASIA Meet Up is a key platform connecting global leaders with the dynamic Southeast Asian market. As a leading blueberry producer in Turkey and Eastern Europe, we are proud to showcase our production strength and expand our long-term partnerships across Asia.”
A similar view is shared by Kittisak Pipatkanaporn, Managing Director of Thai Best Products Holding Co., Ltd., who highlighted the event’s importance for building relationships within the fruit industry and exchanging perspectives between market participants.
A central element of the event will be a one-day conference at the JW Marriott Bangkok, addressing the most pressing topics shaping the fresh produce market in the region. The agenda will include discussions on:
the evolution of consumer markets in Southeast Asia,
digital strategies for brand building,
the region’s tropical fruit boom,
Latin America’s growing presence in ASEAN markets,
innovations in sustainable farming.
Further details of the conference programme will be announced soon.
A key networking element of the event will also be the AFL Fresh Produce Golf Cup 2026, taking place 17 May, one day before the main conference, at a golf course near Bangkok. The tournament will provide participants with a relaxed environment for building business relationships and discussing industry trends.
The SE ASIA Meet Up 2026 delegate package includes access to all conference sessions, the exhibition area, networking breaks, lunch, and a closing cocktail reception. Participants will also have the option to join a Study Tour on 19 May, visiting key companies and industry institutions in the region.
SE ASIA Meet Up also serves as an important lead-up to the flagship global event ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026, which will take place 2–4 September 2026 in Hong Kong. The exhibition will once again bring together producers, technology providers, and leading figures from the global fresh produce industry, featuring an expanded exhibition area, a high-level conference programme, and special events such as the ASIAFRUIT Awards and the Innovation Hub.
