FOODTEC Cambodia 2026: Phnom Penh to welcome the industry to Cambodia’s first dedicated platform for food production and processing technologies
From 28 to 30 September 2026, the Diamond Island Exhibition and Convention Centre (DIECC) on Koh Pich in Phnom Penh will host FOODTEC Cambodia 2026 — an event positioned as Cambodia’s first dedicated platform for innovation in food production and processing. The organisers present the exhibition as a meeting point for industry, technology and agriculture, with a strong focus on modernising the local food supply chain and advancing practical solutions for the Cambodian market.
The event is expected to bring together professionals from the fields of food production, food processing, packaging, food safety and agriculture, creating a space for technology showcases, knowledge exchange and business networking. According to the event website, FOODTEC has been designed to connect industry experts and academia around innovative solutions that can transform traditional approaches to agriculture and food production in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The scale of the exhibition also appears promising. The organiser highlights one exhibition hall, around 2,000 m² of exhibition space, and approximately 5,000 trade visitors. The event will focus on food processing technologies, packaging solutions and sustainable food safety systems, while the visitor profile is expected to include buyers, distributors, producers and investors.
The importance of the event goes beyond the trade fair format itself. FOODTEC Cambodia 2026 is presented as a platform supporting the development of Cambodia’s food industry and its stronger integration with modern technologies. In February 2026, the organisation of the event was discussed during a meeting between a delegation from Informa Markets and Cambodia’s Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, which underlines the institutional support behind the initiative and its significance for the development of the sector.
FOODTEC Cambodia 2026 is organised by Informa Markets and AMB Tarsus Exhibitions (Cambodia) Pte Ltd, and the exhibition is set to create a new platform for companies interested in entering the growing Cambodian market and, more broadly, the Southeast Asian region. For technology suppliers, providers of processing and packaging solutions, as well as investors and trade partners, the September exhibition in Phnom Penh may become an important opportunity to explore the potential of the local market and establish new business connections.
