
The 27th Line Maintenance and Material Support Conference Was Successfully Held in Chengdu City

According to the COMAC Market Forecast Annual Report 2021-2040, the China’s market will receive 9,284 passenger aircraft in the next two decades. By 2041, China's fleet size will reach 10,007 aircraft, accounting for 21.1% of the global passenger aircraft fleet. The China’s market will become the largest single aviation market in the world.
The huge fleet volume means the growth of related industrial chain: in the next 20 years, China will generate $390 billion in demand for civil aviation maintenance and engineering services. This will bring about huge business opportunities, which will shape a huge industry chain and give rise to innovative technological means, and route maintenance. The successful conclusion of the 27th Line Maintenance and Material Support Conference on March 1-2 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is also an indication of the global advanced participants' confidence in the line maintenance industry.
The conference was held by Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, CPC Chengdu Shuangliu District Committee, Chengdu Shuangliu District People’s Government; Supported by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics; Organized by Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation, Chengdu Shuangliu Aviation Economic Zone Management Committee, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co., Ltd., Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd. With the theme of “Accelerate the Application of Line Maintenance and Aviation Spares Mutual Support Mechanism”, the conference brought together more than 20 well-known speakers and over 400 participants onsite to discuss new technologies as well as share new business opportunities to jointly help China's civil aircraft maintenance industry flourish.
The conference focused on Industry Policy Guidance, Intelligent Maintenance, New Technology Exploration, OEM Sharing, Improvement of Operation and Maintenance Capabilities, Aviation City Construction Plan, aiming to provide a more large-scale professional communication platform and more abundant cutting-edge information for industry peers.
