The European Major Exhibition Centres Association (EMECA) has recognised the International Private Label Fair for its innovation and appeal to professionals.

EMECA, the European Major Exhibition Centres Association, has awarded IFEMA MADRID with the EMECA BELA Award 2026 for its PRIVEL project, an award that recognises the best exhibition launch in Europe, highlighting its innovation and sector appeal, as well as its impact on the economic and social environment.

PRIVEL was selected by the jury, the EMECA Board, which is made up of executives from the leading operators and exhibition centres across Europe. The awards ceremony took place during the EMECA General Assembly in London.

PRIVEL is the trade fair for private label products that brings together manufacturers and retailers in a 100% business-focused environment. Organised by IFEMA MADRID and with Alimarket as a strategic partner , PRIVEL 2025 attracted 269 exhibiting companies in its first edition, more than 4,800 trade visitors from all over the world and boasted a programme featuring over 300 international buyers from 27 countries.

Speaking for IFEMA MADRIDexecutive vice-president, Daniel Martínez said“it is an honour to receive such an important accolade for the global trade fair industry, which highlights our capacity to generate business and identify new market opportunities here at IFEMA MADRID, allowing us to maximise the business opportunities for so many companies and professionals who place their trust in our trade fairs and events every year”

This recognition on the part of EMECA is a great achievement and serves as a boost for the second edition of the fair, which will be held on 4 and 5 November 2026 at IFEMA MADRID. This year’s edition will see a doubling of exhibition space and has already attracted 220 confirmed companies.
