Fruit Attraction opens the call for entries for its Best Stand Awards

Fruit Attractionorganised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX has opened the registration period for a new edition of its Best Stand Awards, an initiative, sponsored by WAH, which recognises the creativity, innovation and commitment to sustainability of exhibiting companies.

Applications can be submitted until 2 September, and are aimed at all companies exhibiting at the next edition of the trade fair that participate with a free-design stand.  

The aim of these awards is to highlight the efforts made by companies to offer quality stand spaces, capable of attracting the attention of trade visitors and reinforcing brand positioning within the event.

The awards are structured into four categoriesBest Design, which recognises the aesthetics, construction quality and functionality of the stand; Most Original Stand, which focuses on creativity and visual impact; Most Sustainable Stand, which honours the responsible use of materials and environmental commitment; and People’s Choice, which will be voted directly by trade fair visitors during the event from 6 to 8 October.

The jury is made up of noteworthy professionals from the fields of design, architecture, gastronomy, communication and the trade fair sector, including Romina Barbieri Petrelli -Ro Barbieri Architectural Studio-; Felipe Medina -Secretary General at ASEDAS-, Rodrigo de la Calle -chef-; Esther Sánchez Lastra -ESL Interior Design-; Sofía Alonso - IFEMA MADRID Trade Fair Design-; Alfonso Barajas -Artistic Director-; Santiago Quiroga, Quality, Sustainability and Compliance Director at IFEMA MADRID-; Joana Gutiérrez -Quality and Sustainability Manager at IFEMA MADRID-, and Luis B. Martín -Technical Director at FEPEX-. 

The jury's decision will be revealed on Thursday 8 October at 11.00 am in the Fruit Forum (hall 3), at an event where the winners will be announced after the presentation of the finalists in each category. 

With this event, Fruit Attraction reinforces its commitment to promoting innovation, design and sustainability, key elements in the evolution of the industry.  

Fruit Attraction 2026 will be held from 6 to 8 October at IFEMA MADRID, with particularly positive exhibitor forecasts, which point to the participation of more than 2,500 companies, a total occupancy of 162,000 m2 spread over 10 halls and the attendance of more than 121,000 professional visitors from over 150 countries.
