SIAL Paris 2026: Paris prepares an edition full of new formats, trends and discussions on the future of food

From 17 to 21 October 2026Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center will host the next edition of SIAL Paris, one of the world’s most important events for the food industry. This year’s exhibition will place particular emphasis on the changes already shaping the food market — from global challenges and artificial intelligence to personalisation and the sustainable transformation of the sector.

The programme of SIAL Paris 2026 has been built around a series of formats designed to help participants better understand market developments and identify new business opportunities more quickly. One of the key elements of this year’s edition will be SIAL Summits, focused on three main themes: global challenges, AI, and personalisation. These topics are expected to become some of the most important reference points for the food & beverage industry in the coming years.

Among the most important new features of this year’s edition is SIAL For Change – a new space dedicated to CSR solutions and concrete initiatives supporting the food transition towards a more sustainable direction. This new format will highlight practical actions and tools that help companies respond to growing expectations related to environmental and social responsibility.

Another important new feature will be SIAL LIVE, a new area focused on innovations presented by candidates for SIAL Innovation. Its purpose will be to showcase and explain new product concepts and directions that may influence the decisions of manufacturers, buyers, and retailers in the years ahead.

The programme will also include well-established formats that strengthen the event’s knowledge-sharing dimension. SIAL Talks will once again create a space for meetings with international experts and discussions on trends and markets, while SIAL Pitch will allow participants to discover young companies and startups already working to transform the market through new ideas, business models, and innovative solutions.

The overall programme is expected to be packed with conferences, talks, and meetings, and the organisers have announced that the event calendar will be updated regularly with new speakers and additional programme highlights. As a result, SIAL Paris 2026 is intended not only as a place to showcase market offerings, but also as a space for analysing change, exchanging knowledge, and observing who is already building the future of the food sector.

SIAL Paris 2026 is an important meeting place for manufacturers, distributors, buyers, retailers, startups, and experts who want to stay close to the most important trends and decisions shaping the global food market. This year’s edition is set to be particularly focused on innovation, the interpretation of change, and a practical view of the future of the industry.
