From 30 November to 3 December 2026, the next edition of the Biostimulants World Congress will take place, one of the most important international events dedicated to plant biostimulants. This year, organisers are highlighting a particularly strong Commercial & Strategic Track, designed to focus on the practical realities of the market, the real needs of agriculture, and the strategies shaping the sector’s future. Poland Fruits is a media partner of the event.
This new programme stream will bring together the voices that currently have the greatest influence on the future of biostimulants in real-world agriculture — farmers, retailers, distributors, and innovators. At the centre of the programme will be honest conversations, direct market experience, and solutions that can be translated into everyday business and product decisions.
One of the key sessions will be a fireside chat with the Western Growers Association, moderated by Rick Melnick of Dunham Trimmer. Participants will discuss how biostimulants are being adopted in practice, the challenges growers are facing, and what they truly expect from this category. The programme also includes A farmer’s story, a session in which farmers will share their direct, unfiltered perspective on the role of biostimulants as agricultural inputs.
An important part of the track will also be a panel dedicated to retail and distribution in the USA, exploring how the agricultural input sales landscape is evolving. The discussion will focus on which ag input categories are growing, which are holding steady, and which are declining, how biostimulants are currently positioned in retailers’ priorities, and how economic pressure is influencing farmers’ purchasing decisions.
Organisers are also preparing an innovation-focused session titled How do we innovate in a competitive market?, centred on the question of how to create genuinely differentiated solutions in a market that is becoming increasingly crowded. The session will include a case study showing innovation in action, as well as an analysis of the three key factors to consider when developing new technologies and demonstrating their real value.
Beyond the educational content, Biostimulants World Congress 2026 will also offer an extensive programme of side events. Participants will be able to join pre-event workshops, including a wine tasting and a visit to Great Bear Vineyard. The congress will also host a range of networking activities such as a morning fun run, an off-site welcome reception, networking drinks and canapés in the exhibition area, as well as speed networking sessions and networking roundtables designed to help attendees build valuable business connections.
Organisers also remind participants that the call for papers remains open, and interested contributors can still submit their abstracts. At the same time, it is worth noting that the Early Bird rate is available only until Friday, 19 June.
This year’s congress is shaping up to be an event that connects product development with market reality, innovation with adoption, and business strategy with the actual needs of growers. For companies developing biostimulants, distributors, commercial partners, and professionals responsible for market positioning, it will be an important opportunity to gain knowledge, inspiration, and connections that can support further business growth.
