agrofood Ethiopia 2026: Addis Ababa will once again welcome the agrofood and plastprintpack industries to AICC

22 June 2026

From 25 to 27 June 2026, the 8th edition of agrofood Ethiopia will take place at the AICC Addis Int’l Convention Center in Addis Ababa, organised alongside plastprintpack Ethiopia. This year’s edition returns to AICC and is set to be an important meeting place for companies involved in agriculture, food and beverage processing, hospitality, as well as packaging and printing technologies. Poland Fruits is an official media partner of the event.

The event is positioned as one of the key industry platforms in Ethiopia for the sectors of agrofood, food & beverage processing, ingredients, and food & hospitality, and visitor registration is already open. Official information also confirms that Ethiopia Food Show and Ethiopica Coffee Show will take place alongside the exhibition, further broadening the scope and relevance of the event for the regional market.

Organisers underline that Ethiopia is investing heavily in agribusiness, food and beverage processing, packaging technologies, and the trade of food and coffee. Agriculture remains a pillar of the country’s economy, accounting for around 33% of GDP, 66% of employment, and 76% of exports, while the sector itself is valued at approximately USD 36 billion. At the same time, Ethiopia is among the leading buyers of food and beverage processing and packaging technology in East Africa.

The official theme of this year’s edition – “On the Growth Track” – clearly reflects the direction of market development. For exhibitors and visitors alike, the event will provide an opportunity to explore supplier offers, technologies, and products, while also conducting business discussions in a dynamic and expanding market environment. A 2026 exhibitor and product database is already available, making it easier to plan meetings in advance.

agrofood Ethiopia 2026 is therefore shaping up to be an important meeting point for companies looking to grow in Ethiopia and across East Africa, follow investment trends, and build contacts with partners in food, beverages, hospitality, packaging, and processing.
