SIGEP World 2027: Rimini will once again bring together the world of gelato, pastry, coffee, bakery, and pizza
From 23 to 27 January 2027, the 48th edition of SIGEP World will take place at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy, an international trade show dedicated to the gelato, pastry, chocolate, coffee, bakery, and pizza industries. Over the years, the event has become one of the world’s leading meeting points for the foodservice and hospitality sectors, bringing under one roof the entire ecosystem of products, ingredients, technologies, and equipment for the out-of-home market.
SIGEP World 2027 is positioned as a global B2B platform combining innovation, business, and industry knowledge. Organisers underline that the event is designed to showcase the latest trends, support the development of international partnerships, provide a stage for product launches, and strengthen brand visibility in the market. The exhibition is also intended to offer insight into the future of the sector through carefully curated educational programmes.
The scale of the event confirms its international importance. Previous editions attracted more than 198,000 visitors, 1,400 exhibiting brands, and participants from 160 countries. The programme included around 400 events, the presence of 500+ buyers, and more than 5,000 business meetings, making SIGEP World one of the most important venues for building commercial relationships in the industry.
The exhibition covers a broad spectrum of product and technology categories. In the gelato sector, the offer includes cups and packaging, wafers and cones, ingredients, technologies, small equipment, and accessories. The coffee segment covers raw beans, ingredients, and technologies, while bakery and pizza focuses on ingredients, toppings, finished and frozen products, technologies, small equipment, and packaging. In the pastry & chocolate section, visitors will find raw ingredients, decorations, packaging, technologies, small equipment, and finished and frozen products. The servicessegment will feature digital and robotics solutions, logistics, rental, professional apparel, cleaning systems, and franchising. In addition, organisers also include a furniture area covering furnishings, accessories, and food trucks.
SIGEP World is aimed at a wide range of professionals, including wholesalers and retailers, importers and distributors, hospitality and catering chains, foodservice operators and public establishments, producers and laboratories, purchasing groups, and representatives of large-scale distribution. As a result, the event serves as an important meeting place for all parts of the market looking to follow trends, develop sales, and build international connections.
