ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA launches FRESHTech — a dedicated technology platform for Asia’s fresh produce business
ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, the leading international trade show for Asia’s fresh produce business, has announced the launch of FRESHTech — a new platform dedicated to fresh produce technology, which will debut at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 in Hong Kong from 2 to 4 September.
By combining a specially curated exhibition zone, a two-day content stage, and the inaugural FRESHTech Innovation Award, FRESHTech creates a focused space where technology providers and fresh produce businesses can connect, exchange ideas, and explore solutions ready to be applied across the entire value chain.
“FRESHTech reflects the direction in which the fresh produce industry is moving. Technology is becoming essential for improving quality, managing risk, increasing efficiency, and responding to new market requirements,” said David Axiotis, Managing Director of Global Produce Events, organiser of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA. “By bringing together the Zone, Stage, and Innovation Award within ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, we are creating a platform where breakthrough innovation will meet real industry demand.”
At the heart of FRESHTech will be a purpose-built exhibition zone covering more than 1,000 sqm, showcasing a curated group of technology exhibitors representing the full spectrum of technologies for the fresh produce sector — from smart agriculture and crop forecasting, through postharvest sorting and grading, packhouse automation, and cold chain technologies, to AI, data analytics, traceability, compliance, sustainability, and carbon management.
Located within ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, the zone will give technology exhibitors direct access to buyers, importers, retailers, and supply chain decision-makers who make up the show’s global visitor base — in other words, an audience actively seeking practical solutions to improve the functioning of the entire fresh produce value chain.
For technology companies interested in participating, a comprehensive exhibitor package has been prepared, including a fully equipped booth, a presentation slot on the FRESHTech Stage, buyer invitation support, networking access, and promotional exposure before, during, and after the show — all designed to maximise exhibitors’ visibility across multiple touchpoints within ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA.
Confirmed exhibitors for the inaugural edition include Copeland, Sensitech, Daikin, Xsense, Aerobotics, DECCO Postharvest, Anhui Lesui, Sinclair, and many other solution providers and innovators.
“We are thrilled to be part of FRESHTech at Asia Fruit Logistica,” said Copeland. “As technology continues to transform the fresh produce supply chain, this dedicated platform provides the perfect stage to connect with industry leaders and present the solutions driving the future of our sector.”
Running alongside the exhibition zone, the FRESHTech Stage will host two days of expert-led sessions, keynotes, and panel discussions focused on how innovation is being applied at every critical step of the fresh produce journey — from production to retail.
Day 1, “From Field to Port,” will focus on the upstream and midstream stages — from smart production and crop forecasting to postharvest handling, automation, quality control, and cold chain decisions.
Day 2, “From Port to Plate,” will shift the conversation towards market access, compliance, traceability, supply chain visibility, retail demand, and consumer-facing innovation.
Across both days, speakers with direct commercial experience will show how technology is being tested, adopted, and scaled throughout the value chain.
As part of FRESHTech, the FRESHTech Innovation Award will also be launched — an annual award organised by ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA to recognise one breakthrough technological solution with the potential to reshape the fresh produce value chain. The competition is open to technology companies and innovators whose solutions were launched after January 2025. The award is intended to highlight practical innovations in areas such as production, postharvest handling, logistics, supply chain visibility, compliance, sustainability, and retail.
The award jury will consist of experienced representatives from across the fresh produce value chain — including growers, exporters, retailers, and technology users — selected to ensure a diverse and independent evaluation. Additional jury members will be announced in the lead-up to the event.
Shortlisted finalists will be invited to present their solutions on the FRESHTech Stage in front of decision-makers, gaining targeted exposure at Asia’s leading fresh produce trade show. The winner will be announced during ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026.
Applications for the FRESHTech Innovation Award are open until 31 July 2026. More information and the nomination form are available at: www.asiafruitlogistica.com/freshtech/innovationaward
