FRUIT LOGISTICA brings together the world’s leading buyers in the fresh produce industry
The new Buyers Club will connect 500 leading international buyers from across the fruit and vegetable sector with exhibitors, creating valuable opportunities for high-level business relationships and strategic partnerships.
At FRUIT LOGISTICA 2027, taking place in Berlin from 3 to 5 February 2027, the new Buyers Club for international buyers will make its debut. The programme has been designed as an exclusive network for senior procurement decision-makers and will offer a wide range of matchmaking, networking, and premium support services throughout the trade fair. The initiative is aimed at key players across the fresh produce value chain, including retailers, importers and exporters, wholesalers, distributors, food processors, as well as procurement professionals and executives from the HoReCa sector.
International buyers with real decision-making authority have been among FRUIT LOGISTICA’s most important visitor groups for many years. With the Buyers Club, the leading trade fair for the global fresh produce business is now creating an exclusive network of 500 leading international buyers from key sourcing markets around the world. Membership will be granted based on defined criteria such as purchasing volume and decision-making authority.
The Buyers Club is intended to help buyers connect with the right business partners more quickly and effectively, while also facilitating contact and meeting arrangements both before and during the trade fair. At the same time, the programme strengthens the long-term engagement of international buyers with FRUIT LOGISTICA and creates additional opportunities for exchange and networking beyond the three days of the event.
A key element of the programme will be curated matchmaking. Buyers and exhibitors will be matched based on their specific interests and business priorities. Meetings can be arranged even before the trade fair begins, enabling both sides to make the best possible use of their time at FRUIT LOGISTICA and start building valuable business relationships from day one.
“With the Buyers Club, we are creating a direct connection between leading international buyers and the exhibitors most relevant to their business needs. Buyers can identify suitable partners more quickly, while exhibitors gain targeted access to key decision-makers. In this way, we create the ideal conditions for successful business opportunities,” says Christina Freier, Director of FRUIT LOGISTICA.
The Buyers Club has been designed for verified buyers with the appropriate decision-making authority and significant purchasing volume.
Members of the programme will benefit from access to matchmaking services, the Buyers Lounge with meeting facilities and cloakroom service, selected networking events and guided tours, as well as a range of other exclusive benefits. The programme will be further enhanced by up-to-date industry insights and year-round networking opportunities designed to encourage dialogue between buyers and exhibitors and foster lasting relationships within the international buying community.
Registration for the Buyers Club will open in September together with the launch of the ticket shop. Interested buyers can already join the Priority List and will receive advance information about the application process, programme highlights, and Buyers Club benefits ahead of the official registration opening.
