AGRITECH WEST AFRICA GHANA 2026: Accra will once again welcome the agro-tech and agro input industry

From 8 to 9 October 2026, the 5th edition of AGRITECH WEST AFRICA GHANA 2026 will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra, an international exhibition dedicated to agrochemicals, agricultural technology, and agro inputs in Ghana. The event will be co-located with Agro Process Pack Ghana, creating a comprehensive B2B platform covering the entire agricultural value chain – from farm inputs, agrochemicals, fertilizers, and irrigation systems to agricultural machinery, storage, grain processing, livestock, and agro-processing technologies.

Organisers expect the participation of more than 80 exhibitors4,000+ professional visitors, and 400+ B2B meetings, creating a platform for engagement between global technology providers and farmers, agribusiness companies, distributors, importers, government representatives, and key stakeholders from Ghana and across West Africa.

The relevance of the event is reinforced by current market conditions in Ghana and the wider region. Agriculture remains one of the country’s largest employment sectors. Around 65% of the land is dedicated to agriculture, yet less than 2% is irrigated, highlighting significant opportunities for irrigation development. In addition, government initiatives such as Planting for Food & Jobs and 1 District 1 Factory are helping to modernise the sector.

Promotional materials also highlight ambitious production growth targets, including maize (30%)rice (49%)soybean (25%), and sorghum (28%). At the same time, agricultural machinery imports into Ghana reached USD 1.29 billion in 2023, underlining the growing market demand for modern technological solutions. Ghana is also strengthening its role as a West African agribusiness and logistics hub, while strong trade relations with international partners continue to create new opportunities for agri-technology suppliers.

The exhibition is intended to respond directly to these needs, focusing on sectors where demand is increasing for mechanisation, irrigation systems, storage, and post-harvest solutions. Organisers expect AGRITECH WEST AFRICA GHANA 2026 to become an important meeting place for knowledge exchange, technology presentation, and the development of business relationships in one of the region’s fastest-growing markets.

The exhibition profile will include agrochemicals, fertilizers and crop care solutions, irrigation systems, pumps, drip and solar irrigation products, tractors, farm machinery and spare parts, seeds, implements and tillage equipment, poultry, livestock and veterinary solutions, storage, warehousing and cold chain solutions, grain processing and post-harvest machinery, forestry and horticulture equipment, as well as agro-processing and food processing machinery.

AGRITECH WEST AFRICA GHANA 2026 is shaping up to be an important event for companies looking to expand in Ghana and across West Africa, showcase innovative solutions, and build relationships with trade partners and customers in the agricultural and processing industries.
