SANLUCAR expands its commitment to professional football with a new partnership

SanLucar, the premium fruit and vegetable brand, has announced an official partnership with the German football club Borussia Mönchengladbach. The cooperation will begin on 1 July 2025.

As part of this partnership, SanLucar will supply the entire team – from players to support staff – with fresh fruit, as well as popular Fresh Cut products and salads. The aim is to provide optimal support for the team’s healthy nutrition and enhance overall performance.

However, the cooperation goes far beyond simply providing fruit. Together with Borussia Mönchengladbach, SanLucar plans to strengthen its presence at the point of sale in the region. Promotional materials featuring players and SanLucar products will make the partnership more visible – a concept that has already proven successful in cooperation with VfB Stuttgart.

The four-year partnership will be accompanied by a variety of marketing activities. These will include joint social media content, SanLucar’s presence in the stadium, as well as logos and video clips displayed on video screens.

One of the highlights of the cooperation will be the 125th anniversary celebration of Borussia Mönchengladbach, scheduled for 2 August 2025. As part of this event, during the home game against FC Valencia, SanLucar will have its own stand and will offer players and visitors fresh, aromatic premium fruit.
