MEGA SHOW Hong Kong 2026 will take place from 20 to 23 October 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The event is one of Asia’s major sourcing platforms, targeting importers, distributors, retail chains, brand owners and professional buyers looking for new products and manufacturing partners.
For more than 30 years, MEGA SHOW has connected international buyers with manufacturers, primarily from Asia. The event will feature more than 3,000 exhibitors from over 31 countries, with more than 3,400 booths. Participating markets include China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines, as well as companies from Europe and the Americas.
One of the key focuses of this year’s edition will be products aligned with trends expected to shape European retail in 2027. Particular attention will be given to home and kitchen solutions, including eco-friendly cookware and tableware, storage and organisation products, energy-saving home appliances, and garden and outdoor accessories.
The scope of MEGA SHOW is much broader, covering categories such as gifts & premiums, toys & baby products, housewares & kitchen, festive and seasonal products, sporting goods, travel goods, stationery and office supplies, as well as art toys and creative design products.
For European importers, an important advantage of the event will be the opportunity to diversify sourcing through a China+1 strategy. Buyers will be able to compare Chinese suppliers with manufacturers from Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, India and other markets in one location.
This sourcing model allows companies to reduce dependence on a single production market, diversify tariff and logistics risks, and identify alternative suppliers. For manufacturers targeting the European Union, compliance with requirements and standards such as CE, RoHS and REACH will also be important.
Many suppliers operating under OEM/ODM models also offer private-label production, customised product design and packaging, as well as flexible trial minimum order quantities.
The first part of MEGA SHOW, taking place from 20 to 23 October, will include sectors such as Gifts & Premiums Asia, Home Asia, X’mas Asia and Hong Kong Creative & Design. The second part of the show is scheduled for 27–29 October 2026 and will focus on categories including housewares and kitchen products, toys, stationery, travel goods and outdoor products.
The broad product profile allows buyers to source both ready-to-sell products and manufacturers capable of developing customised solutions.
The timing of MEGA SHOW also allows international buyers to combine a visit to Hong Kong with the autumn edition of the Canton Fair in China. For European companies, this creates an opportunity to conduct extensive supplier research during a single trip to Asia and compare offers across a wide range of product categories.
MEGA SHOW also offers support programmes for international buyers, including the possibility of free hotel accommodation or cash subsidies for accommodation costs, subject to the organiser’s programme conditions.
MEGA SHOW Hong Kong 2026 will primarily serve companies looking for new products, alternative sourcing options and manufacturing partners ahead of the 2027 retail season. Its combination of broad OEM/ODM capabilities, suppliers from multiple Asian markets and a high concentration of professional buyers makes it an important event in the region’s autumn sourcing calendar.
