As Asia continues to play an increasingly important role in global fresh produce trade, the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) will once again bring together senior executives from across the global fresh produce supply chain for the Executive Leadership Summit Asia, taking place on 1 September 2026 in Hong Kong, immediately ahead of Asia Fruit Logistica.
The invitation-only event is designed exclusively for senior executives and key decision-makers. The programme will focus on the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the fresh produce industry, including changing consumer expectations, evolving retail dynamics, market access and regulatory issues, sustainability, innovation and leadership in an increasingly complex business environment.
Participants will hear expert perspectives and take part in executive-level discussions focused on identifying emerging risks, uncovering growth opportunities and strengthening collaboration across the industry.
The programme will include presentations and interactive sessions, giving participants an opportunity to gain strategic insights, exchange perspectives with industry leaders from Asia and other regions, and build business relationships that support long-term growth.
The day will conclude with a networking reception, providing additional opportunities to continue discussions and strengthen connections in a more informal setting.
Participants from previous editions have highlighted executive-level discussions and relationship-building opportunities as some of the summit’s greatest strengths.
“What made this Summit truly valuable was the quality of the conversations. It brought together senior leaders from across the fresh produce industry to openly exchange perspectives, challenge ideas, and build relationships that continue well beyond the event. I highly recommend the experience – it has helped me build valuable connections that continue to create opportunities for collaboration,” said Sandra Wenz, Commercial Director, APAC.
The importance of the Executive Leadership Summit Asia was also highlighted by Lam Lin, Special Assistant to Chairman at Joy Wing Mau.
“IFPA Executive Leadership Summit Asia brought together some of the brightest minds across the global fresh produce industry. The insightful discussions on evolving consumer trends, channel transformation and market best practices in Asia provided valuable perspectives and inspiration. It was a truly worthwhile experience, and I look forward to reconnecting with industry peers at the event in September,” said Lam Lin.
The Executive Leadership Summit Asia has been strategically scheduled immediately before Asia Fruit Logistica, allowing international participants to combine both events during one stay in Hong Kong.
The summit will provide a dedicated day for strategic learning, executive-level discussions and networking at the beginning of a week when many of the world’s leading fresh produce professionals will already be in the region.
Attendance is limited in order to preserve the interactive nature of the event, and senior executives interested in participating are encouraged to register early.
The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) is the largest and most diverse international association representing the entire fresh produce and floral supply chain. The organisation combines global advocacy with direct support for businesses operating across the sector.
