WorldFood Poland 2027 – business contacts, new sales channels and export growth

5 October 2026

The 13th edition of WorldFood Poland – the International Food & Drink, Food Processing and Packaging Exhibition – will take place at EXPO XXI Warsaw from 13 to 15 April 2027. The event will connect producers with retail-chain buyers, HoReCa representatives, importers and distributors. Exhibitors booking their stands by 31 October 2026 can benefit from the early-bird rate.

At a B2B event, preparing an exhibition stand should not be the main objective. What matters most is meeting purchasing decision-makers, discussing the introduction of products to retail networks, finding distributors or importers, and developing export activities. These are the areas on which WorldFood Poland focuses.

Autumn is when many companies prepare their marketing and sales budgets for the following year. Businesses considering participation in a spring exhibition should therefore secure funds in advance for exhibition space, stand construction, promotional materials, product samples and business-meeting support.

Previous results confirm the event’s business profile

The results of WorldFood Poland 2026 provide a useful benchmark for the 2027 edition. The event attracted 7,535 trade visitors and 370 exhibitors representing 30 countries. International attendees accounted for 19% of all visitors.

A total of 144 buyers representing retail chains and distribution companies from Poland and abroad participated in the VIP Buyer and Hosted Buyer programmes. Countries represented by buyers included Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Germany, Romania, France, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

Previous editions have been attended by buyers representing companies such as Biedronka, Auchan, Eurocash, Netto, E.Leclerc, Dino and Allegro. For producers, this provides an opportunity to present their products directly to professionals involved in selecting new products and suppliers.

Matchmaking instead of chance encounters

Pre-arranged B2B meetings are an important part of the event. The matchmaking system allows exhibitors to arrange appointments with selected buyers before the exhibition begins.

Meetings take place in a dedicated matchmaking area and directly at exhibitors’ stands. This format helps companies prepare their product presentations, adapt their offers to each buyer’s profile and focus on partners who are most relevant to their business strategies.

For producers, participation can create opportunities to:

An offer covering the entire food-industry value chain

WorldFood Poland showcases more than finished food and beverage products. Its scope also includes raw materials and food ingredients, production technologies, machinery, packaging, and solutions supporting product storage and distribution.

The event’s key sectors include Food & Drinks, ECOFood, Food Ingredients, FoodTech, Wine & Spirits, ColdChain, premium products, plant-based alternatives, private labels and contract manufacturing.

This structure brings together food producers, ingredient suppliers, technology companies, logistics operators, retailers and foodservice buyers. It also allows companies to compare products in terms of price, quality, production scalability, packaging and suitability for different sales channels.

International business opportunities

The presence of international visitors is particularly important for companies planning to expand their exports. In 2026, the most strongly represented countries outside Poland included Ukraine, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Italy.

Meeting importers, distributors and buyers from different markets allows producers to assess the export potential of their products, better understand packaging, labelling and logistics requirements, and begin cooperation discussions without organising numerous separate business trips.

Held alongside NutraFood Poland

The NutraFood Poland International Nutraceuticals and Functional Food Exhibition will be held alongside WorldFood Poland. This specialist event is aimed at producers of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, functional foods, raw materials and ingredients, as well as contract manufacturing companies.

Combining the two events provides access to representatives of retail and pharmacy chains, drugstores, specialist shops, petrol stations and the wellness industry. The 2026 edition of NutraFood Poland featured 128 exhibitors from 21 countries.

Early-bird rate available until 31 October

According to the organiser’s current offer, companies reserving exhibition space by 31 October 2026 can benefit from a lower early-bird rate. Booking early also provides a wider choice of stand locations and sizes, while allowing more time to plan promotional activities ahead of the event.

Information about available exhibition space and participation conditions can be requested through the official form: enquire about a stand at WorldFood Poland 2027.
