Food Week Korea 2026 – food, K-Food and new technologies come together in Seoul

6 October 2026

The 21st edition of Food Week Korea will take place at COEX in Seoul from 4 to 7 November 2026. The event will bring together food and beverage producers, importers, distributors, retailers, HoReCa professionals and suppliers of technologies, automation and smart solutions for the food industry.

Food Week Korea 2026 will be a comprehensive B2B2C event covering finished products and the entire ecosystem of food production, packaging, distribution and sales. The exhibition will occupy Halls A, B and C and The Platz at COEX in Seoul.

The event involves COEX, the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation. It holds certifications from UFI and AKEI, confirming its position within the international exhibition industry.

A larger event planned for 2026

The promotional figures of more than 900 exhibitors, 1,500 booths and 55,000 visitors reflect the scale achieved during the previous edition. In 2025, Food Week Korea attracted 950 exhibitors, 1,532 booths and 55,711 visitors.

The organisers are planning further growth in 2026. According to the official event overview, the exhibition is expected to feature approximately 1,000 exhibitors and 1,800 booths, while attendance may reach 60,000 visitors.

The event’s growing scale strengthens its importance as a platform for meeting Korean importers, retailers, distributors and foodservice operators, as well as presenting products intended for other Asian markets.

From finished products to automation and artificial intelligence

The Food Week Korea exhibition will cover several complementary areas of the food industry.

Hall A will host domestic and international products. The offer will include processed foods, convenience products and ready meals, frozen foods, fresh produce, fruit, vegetables, grains, meat, poultry, fish and seafood. Organic, functional and health-oriented foods, sauces, seasonings, raw materials and food ingredients will also be presented.

Hall B will be dedicated to Fancy Food & Trends. Exhibitors will showcase desserts, bakery products, snacks, dairy products, beverages, wine and spirits, gourmet and speciality foods, and premium ingredients. Smart kitchen appliances, tableware and culinary lifestyle solutions will complement the food and beverage offer.

Hall C will host Next K-Food & Smart Solutions, presenting products with strong export potential, including Korean convenience foods, snacks, beverages, sauces, functional products, traditional and fermented foods, and alternative food products.

This part of the exhibition will also cover solutions for restaurants and institutional catering, including kitchen automation, professional equipment, table-service and venue-management systems, smart factories, food production and processing machinery, packaging technologies, smart logistics, distribution systems and fulfilment solutions.

B2B meetings with buyers

One of the event’s principal elements will be its business meetings and matchmaking programme. International exhibitors will be able to participate in individual meetings with selected Korean buyers, importers and distributors.

The organiser will provide scheduling support, dedicated meeting spaces and interpreting services. The Overseas Big Buyer Zone programme will also facilitate contact with major international buyers.

The Platz will host the Buy Korean Food+ programme, known as BKF+. This platform will connect Korean food companies with international importers, retailers and online platforms. It will include individual business meetings, on-site consultations and online buyer matchmaking.

For international companies, these programmes may facilitate:

New product presentations and brand visibility

Food Week Korea extends beyond traditional exhibition stands. The THE NEXT: New Product Showcase will feature product launches and solutions responding to emerging consumer needs.

The event will provide a platform for promoting products in the premium, convenience, health and wellness, vegan, alternative food and functional food categories. Smart kitchens, automation, artificial intelligence in food production, intelligent logistics and technologies for modern agriculture will also be important parts of the exhibition.

Combining food products, technology and meetings with buyers allows companies to use the event not only to build brand awareness, but also to identify specific sales channels and prepare for entering the Korean market.
