Italian companies ready to showcase innovations in productivity, efficiency, and sustainability in Las Vegas

Ucima continues its commitment to promoting the Italian packaging industry on a global scale by taking part in Pack Expo Las Vegas, scheduled from September 29 to October 1. The event, one of the world's most important in the packaging and processing sector, will provide Italian companies with the opportunity to present innovative solutions in productivity, efficiency, and sustainability on a prestigious international stage.

In addition to the many Italian companies exhibiting independently, the Italian Pavilion, booth SU-32069, will also host 19 companies brought together in a collective participation organized by Ucima in collaboration with ICE-Agenzia: Agripak, Bellini & Meda, CTI Foodtech, Ecopack, Erre Enne, Europool, FMT, Innova, IPI, Itatools, Opto Engineering, Packint Chocolate Machines, Pasta Technologies Group, Ricciarelli, Technowrapp, Tecnopool, TMG Impianti, Zanasi e Zancaner. The group participation will be supported by a Ucima institutional booth and by a dedicated space for Ipack Ima, within the framework of WMP - We Make Packaging, the Association's institutional brand created to promote the Italian packaging industry in Italy and worldwide.

The United States today represent one of the most important markets for Italian packaging machinery exports. Italy is the second-largest trading partner of the US, after Germany and ahead of Canada, with total exports of €978 million in 2024, equal to 19.4% of the overall market share. For Italy, the United States is the leading export destination, accounting for 15% of total Italian exports. Italy confirmed its second-place position among the top exporters, with €435 million in exports, in line with the first half of 2024. The current context is marked by the presence of tariffs that significantly affect trade relations with the United States, but the trade fair will be an important opportunity for Italian companies to strengthen dialogue with the US market: both with long-standing clients and with new business opportunities.

Pack Expo Las Vegas represents a strategic platform for Italian companies to consolidate their presence in the United States, engage with the latest technological innovations, and develop new business opportunities in a growing market. The initiative confirms Ucima's ongoing commitment to promoting Italian excellence in packaging worldwide.
