
On 7 October, the second day of Fruit Attraction 2026 is taking place at IFEMA MADRID. The programme focuses on business, innovation, new technologies and knowledge exchange between representatives of the international fruit and vegetable sector.
One of the key highlights of the day is Factoría Chef in Hall 7, where live cooking demonstrations showcase the potential and versatility of fresh fruit and vegetables. Visitors can also take part in the Fruit Attraction Party, scheduled from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm between Halls 2 and 4.
As part of the Organic Tour, visitors can discover leading companies specialising in certified organic production. Another important area is the Innovation Hub, where new products, technologies and solutions for the sector are presented. Public voting is also underway for the Best Stand Awards, with the first 100 voters receiving a VIP Pass for Fruit Attraction 2027.
The conference programme on 7 October includes events across several halls at IFEMA MADRID. At the Fruit Forum by Timac Agro in Hall 3, the agenda features the Biotech Attraction Congress, as well as discussions on maritime transport security and technologies transforming modern agriculture. In Hall 4, the programme covers the Biofruit Congress, cold-chain innovation, cybersecurity in the fresh produce sector and the digitalisation of quality control.
In Hall 5, experts address topics including water management, modern packaging, the use of artificial intelligence in the agri-food sector, agricultural drones and new genomic techniques. At the same time, the Biotech Forum focuses on predictive quality, biotechnology, in vitro propagation and next-generation materials used in agriculture.
The programme in Halls 10 and 12 is complemented by discussions on harvest optimisation, digital management of table grape quality, waste reduction and resource recovery, crop protection against heat stress, biostimulation, groundwater management and modern fruit and vegetable logistics.
The second day of Fruit Attraction 2026 highlights the wide range of changes shaping the industry — from biotechnology and AI to organic production, packaging and logistics, as well as solutions designed to improve crop resilience and the efficiency of the entire supply chain.
