
Grüne Woche Update Day 3

Sunday is a day off? Not at the Grüne Woche! Today, our 1,400 exhibitors from Germany and around the world are once again welcoming visitors. Yesterday the halls were already well frequented, people were tasting, testing and, of course, buying a little something or two. A special highlight today is the reception of the product royalty in the Adventure Farm: from the Linden King and the Flour Queen to the German Cherry Blossom Princess and the Gay Heather King - around 100 product royalty will come together in Hall 3.2 at 2.00 pm.
Moments of happiness in Rhineland-Palatinate
The Rhineland-Palatinate wine region at Grüne Woche has set itself the task of bringing even more of the Rhineland's joie de vivre and openness into the world and this works, among other things, through conscious and creative design at the "Wine Cork Upcycling" workshop. Read more
NRW: There is another way!
235 varieties of apples, suckler cow husbandry, family brewery for 180 years - North Rhine-Westphalia will be showcasing many innovative products and how small businesses can assert themselves in the food market. Interested visitors can learn a great deal in Hall 5.2a. North Rhine-Westphalia is represented by numerous initiatives that are breaking new ground in agriculture beyond the mainstream. Midsummer cheese and men's bread
Eastern Europe stands for hearty food. And sausage fans will also get their money's worth in the halls of the Eastern European exhibitors. But there will also be plenty of sweet delicacies to discover in between. Lithuania will entice visitors with hearty meat and dark bread, the Czech Republic will surprise them with insect snacks between bratwurst and beer and Latvia will be bringing midsummer cheese and fish. Estonia lets visitors try strawberry roses and Poland offers mushroom powder, bigos and kielbasa. Read more
Gin meets Stollen
The Grüne Woche not only brings food producers together with their customers. Co-operations are often formed between exhibitors who would otherwise not get to know each other so easily. This is shown by an example from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. An experimental bakery and a gin distillery have jointly created a stollen that guests can sample at the trade fair. Read more
