• The group will be presenting its extensive range of fresh vegetables straight from the fields and ready-to-eat or cook products marketed both under its own brands and private labels
• With a presence in Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, Foodiverse has control of the entire production chain thanks to its farmland and 9 processing plants, guaranteeing maximum quality and freshness in the more than 2,000 products in its range
Foodiverse, a fresh and ready-to-eat food specialist, will be taking its healthy revolution to Fruit Attraction, which will be held in Madrid (Spain) from the 4th to the 6th of October (hall 7, stand D02). The group from Spain will be attending the event with a fresh, innovative range including both vegetables straight from the fields and fresh-cut and ready-to-eat or cook products, to help consumers follow a healthy diet.
Through its brands Sun&Vegs and Freshkia, and with a long history of specialising in private labels, Foodiverse offers fresh products to over 400 customers in 22 countries. The group is currently the market leader for private labels of ready-to-eat salad trays in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Switzerland and is present in markets in Northern Europe such as Norway, Denmark and Poland. It has developed specific formats for distribution, food services, the catering industry and vending machines. In 2021 alone, the group launched more than 220 new products, expanding its range to over 2,000 items. As well as owning fields where the company grows its own vegetables, Foodiverse also has a distribution and marketing company and 9 processing plants for fresh-cut and ready-to-eat or cook products in Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Having control over the entire production chain guarantees utmost process efficiency and maximum quality and freshness of all of the products in the range.
An innovative, on-trend selectionFoodiverse will be showcasing its latest innovations on the stand, such as its Freshkiterráneas salads, with a base of chickpeas, beans, potatoes and pasta – an appealing alternative for new consumers who want to eat anytime and anywhere, and their Microfreshk microwaveable plates with a tasty combination of fresh vegetables and pasta or rice, designed to be cooked in the packaging in the microwave.
We can also highlight some of their proposals for new consumers: the organic Caesar salad; ultra-fresh salads developed in collaboration with Heura and Violife, leaders in the vegan food sector; and Daily salads, a pioneering new product on the Swiss and German markets, which is also available in Spain.
Visitors will also discover a large selection of vegetables straight from the fields as the group has recently expanded its range to include white courgettes – available all year round, black beauty aubergines and Lamuyo peppers. Among the 35 products from its range, it’s worth pointing out the round courgettes, radishes – also available 52 weeks a year and in organic format, and other vegetables with ecological certification such as Iceberg lettuces and green courgettes.
Sustainable packagingFoodiverse will also be presenting its latest innovations in terms of sustainability and its quest to develop more environmentally-friendly packaging solutions. This is the case of the kraft paper bags and PLA in which they supply their fresh and fresh-cut produce and which are 100% bio-based, biodegradable and compostable. The company also supplies its agricultural range in a number of sustainable formats: in bulk; with a kraft paper wrapper; in cellulose and cardboard trays; in cellulose nets; or – in the case of its organic radishes – in sustainable packaging made from recycled plastic recovered from coastal areas in Southeast Asia (Prevented Ocean Plastic). In the case of the fresh-cut range, the group proposes alternatives such as including an FSC-certified wooden fork, and 100% RPET trays, thus encouraging a circular economy. The range of ultra-fresh salads and ready-to-eat peeled fruit are also available in cardboard packaging with a PLA lid.
On-trend alternatives for allFoodiverse’s entire range takes into account that today’s consumers want fresh vegetables and fun, varied products that are good for them. Its catalogue of products is designed to be consumed anytime and anywhere – even at BBQs, as healthy snacks between meals, after doing sport – and proposes alternatives with premium ingredients such as the ultra-fresh Daily format for salads and cut fruit, vegetables and products with ecological certification and a large selection of tasty recipes for flexitarians, vegetarians and vegans.
What’s more, they include innovative ingredients and elements of worldwide and national cuisine such as Maultaschen (meat and cheese ravioli), falafel or Burratina cheese, resulting in a variety of colours, flavours and textures that show consumers that following a healthy, varied diet is possible and also great fun.
