FRUIT LOGISTICA 2024 exhibitor bookings close on 31 July
10 July 2023
Less than three weeks remain to reserve stand space at the Berlin event, which remains the ‘heartbeat of the fresh produce business’
FRUIT LOGISTICA, the leading trade show for the global fresh produce business, is on course to attract a large number of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world to its next edition, which takes place in Berlin, Germany, from 7 to 9 February 2024.
Regarded by many as the heartbeat of the fresh produce business, FRUIT LOGISTICA offers buyers and suppliers from around the world a chance to make the right connections in a tough trading environment. It also presents a perfect opportunity to explore new ways to overcome economic, environmental, geopolitical and technological challenges.
Last year, the event hosted more than 63,000 trade visitors and buyers from over 140 nations, who were able to connect with 2,610 exhibitors from 92 countries. An even greater number is expected at the next edition.
“FRUIT LOGISTICA is the only event that brings together such a wide range of buyers and sellers from all over the world, and this makes it the place to be for any business in the fresh produce industry,” says Kai Mangelberger, director of FRUIT LOGISTICA. “With only a few days left for companies to secure their stand space, our exhibitor bookings are already 30 per cent higher than they were at the same time last year. And we see particular growth in demand from Latin America and Africa.”Paloma Díaz del Río García de Lomas, head of international trade at Madrid wholesale market Mercamadrid, also sees the enormous value in exhibiting at FRUIT LOGISTICA: “As an international benchmark for exports, we want to be in touch with all the companies in the sector, all the different actors in the supply chain, and it's a meeting point for being a benchmark here in the sector.”
In addition to the large number of buyers and sellers, FRUIT LOGISTICA also features a wide range of educational programs and networking events. This year, the event will focus on the challenges facing the fresh produce industry, such as climate change, food safety, and sustainability.
“FRUIT LOGISTICA is always at the forefront of the latest trends and innovations in the fresh produce industry,” said Mangelberger. “We’re committed to providing our exhibitors and visitors with the tools and resources they need to succeed in today’s ever-changing market.”
The 31 July deadline to book stand space is fast approaching. Full details on how to register for a stand can be found on the website of FRUIT LOGISTICA.
