WorldFood Poland 2026 confirms its role as a leading meeting point for the food industry

The 12th edition of WorldFood Poland, held on 14–16 April 2026 at EXPO XXI in Warsaw, once again confirmed the event’s strong position among the key B2B gatherings for the food and beverage sector in Poland. Bringing together producers, importers, distributors, retail buyers, HoReCa professionals and suppliers of technologies, packaging and services, the exhibition offered a comprehensive overview of the market and its current direction of development.

According to the organiser, WorldFood Poland 2026 welcomed around 370 exhibitors, including 38 international companies, representing 30 countries, as well as approximately 7,000 visitors. Compared with the previous edition, this marks a visible increase in exhibitor participation. In 2025, the event hosted 354 companies, which means that this year’s edition recorded growth of around 4.5%, while maintaining a similarly strong visitor turnout.

This year’s fair once again highlighted the importance of WorldFood Poland as a platform connecting the entire food supply chain — from production and processing, through ingredients, additives and packaging, to finished products, distribution, retail and foodservice solutions. The event created valuable opportunities for business networking, product presentation and direct meetings between market players from Poland and abroad.

The international character of the exhibition remained one of its strongest assets. National pavilions from countries including China, Hungary, Ukraine, Cyprus, Italy and Thailand underlined the growing significance of WorldFood Poland not only for the domestic market, but also for international partners looking to strengthen their presence in Central and Eastern Europe.

A major part of the event was the extensive conference programme, featuring more than 40 presentations and debatesover 80 experts and market leaders, and more than 50 hours of sessions. Discussions focused on a broad range of topics relevant to today’s food sector, including the competitiveness of the Polish agri-food industry in the context of new EU trade agreements, export opportunities, food law and regulation, product safety and quality, innovation, consumer trends and supply chain resilience.

The supporting programme further enhanced the event’s practical and business-oriented profile. Matchmaking meetings, culinary and barista competitions, live cooking shows and expert consultations all contributed to the dynamic atmosphere of the fair. The co-location with SMAKKi also broadened the scope of the event, adding a stronger focus on gastronomy and HoReCa.

Overall, WorldFood Poland 2026 demonstrated that the food sector in Poland and the wider CEE region continues to invest in innovation, international cooperation, quality and market adaptability. The increase in exhibitor numbers, sustained visitor interest and broad thematic scope all confirm that the event remains an important forum for business exchange, industry dialogue and the presentation of new market opportunities.

As such, this year’s edition once again proved that WorldFood Poland is not only a showcase for products and services, but also a valuable space for shaping the future of the food industry in Poland and beyond.
