Strengthening India’s presence in Oceania

India’s F&B exports to the Oceania region reached US$ 528.2 million in 2024, representing 2.4% of the region’s total imports valued at US$ 21.8 billion. Australia remains India’s largest export destination within Oceania, importing F&B products worth US$ 412.3 million—equivalent to 2.7% of Australia’s total F&B imports.

While India’s market share in the region remains modest, the growth potential is immense. Over the past five years, India’s F&B exports to Australia have increased at a CAGR of 10.4%, driven by rising demand for grains and cereal preparations, coffee, tea, spices, fruits and vegetables, organic and health foods, beverages, and wine & spirits.
