From food security to new technologies

The programme and exhibition will cover a broad range of topics related to the future of food production and distribution.

One of the main elements will be the Global Food Security Summit, bringing together leaders and experts focused on food security and the development of more resilient production and supply systems.

The Agri-Tech sector will also play an important role, showcasing technologies transforming farming, food production and supply-chain management. This will include solutions supporting automation, digitalisation, production efficiency and the wider use of new technologies in agriculture.

Agriculture, local production and sustainable practices

The Agriculture & Farmers zone will focus on local production, farming solutions and practices enabling more efficient and sustainable use of resources.

The event is designed to create a platform connecting producers with providers of technologies, materials and services supporting agricultural development – particularly in environments where water availability, production efficiency and security of supply are becoming increasingly important elements of food strategies.

A separate area will be dedicated to animal feed, covering products, ingredients and nutrition solutions for different segments of livestock production.

Natural Foods and regional products

The Natural Foods zone will showcase dates, honey and other natural food products from the region.

This segment may be particularly relevant for companies looking for premium products, new suppliers and opportunities to develop product ranges based on regional raw materials.

Global Food Week will also feature a Beverages sector, presenting beverage brands, ingredients, production technologies and solutions supporting new product development.

International brands and new trade opportunities

The International F&B zone will focus on global food brands, products and opportunities to enter new markets.

For exhibitors and buyers, the event can provide an opportunity to identify new suppliers, compare products and develop commercial relationships with partners from different parts of the world.

The event is also expected to facilitate meetings with policymakers, investors and organisations supporting the development of the food industry.

SMEs & Startups – a platform for emerging companies

A dedicated SMEs & Startups zone will be created for small and medium-sized enterprises and young companies developing new products, technologies and scalable business models.

With foodtech and agtech continuing to expand rapidly, this segment can provide an important meeting point for startups, investors, manufacturers and potential implementation partners.

Knowledge, networking and sourcing

Global Food Week 2026 will combine exhibition space with a conference and networking programme.

Participants will be able to:

Building more resilient food systems

One of the central themes of this year’s edition will be the development of resilient and scalable food systems – systems capable of responding to disruption while also being able to expand as demand grows.

The importance of such solutions is increasing due to climate change, pressures on global supply chains, rising costs and the need to strengthen local food production.

New technologies, automation, data analytics and artificial intelligence are increasingly becoming part of strategies aimed at improving the efficiency and security of food production and distribution systems.
