One of the central elements of the programme will be the Global Food Security Summit, where representatives of the public and private sectors will discuss how to build stronger and more resilient food systems.
Food security is becoming increasingly important in the context of climate pressure, rising production costs, changes in international trade and the need to secure stable food supplies.
The programme will focus on solutions that can strengthen production and supply-chain resilience while supporting systems capable of scaling in line with growing demand.
The Agri-Tech zone will showcase technologies changing the way farms operate, food is produced and supply chains are managed.
The importance of this segment is growing alongside the development of:
For agricultural producers and food companies, the zone will provide an opportunity to discover solutions that can improve efficiency while reducing costs and losses across the value chain.
A separate part of the event will focus on agriculture and farmers.
The Agriculture & Farmers zone will showcase local production, farm technologies and solutions, as well as sustainable agricultural practices.
For the Gulf region, technologies related to limited water availability, controlled-environment production and increasing local food supply are particularly important.
The programme also includes a dedicated Natural Foods zone focusing on regional natural products, including dates and honey.
This segment reflects growing consumer interest in products with simple formulations, traceable origins and strong quality and health positioning.
For Middle Eastern producers, the zone may serve as a platform for presenting traditional products to international markets, while international buyers can use it to identify new suppliers and premium product categories.
The Beverages zone will cover beverage brands, ingredients and technologies used in beverage production and distribution.
The event is intended to create opportunities both for manufacturers of finished products and for suppliers of raw materials, technologies and solutions supporting the development of new beverage categories.
Global Food Week will also include an Animal Feed segment dedicated to feed products, ingredients and nutrition solutions for livestock production.
This area is directly linked to the security of the wider food chain, as the availability, quality and price of feed have a significant impact on the cost of producing meat, milk and other animal-based products.
The SMEs & Startups zone will showcase young and growing companies introducing new products, technologies and business models.
The segment is designed to connect startups with investors, technology partners and potential customers. Solutions related to foodtech, logistics, digitalisation, new food products and resource management are expected to be particularly relevant.
The international character of the event will be reinforced by the International F&B zone, featuring brands and products from different parts of the world.
For manufacturers and exporters, this will provide an opportunity to reach buyers and partners interested in the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East market.
For importers and distributors, the event will make it possible to compare offers from producers across multiple markets and identify new product categories.
The Leaders & Enablers zone will focus on connections between policymakers, investors and organisations supporting the development of the food sector.
The presence of these groups is particularly relevant for projects requiring financing, infrastructure development, new public-private partnership models and international expansion.
Global Food Week 2026 will combine exhibition activity with strategic discussions, technology presentations and business networking.
