Pioneering smart agriculture takes centre stage at FRUIT LOGISTICA

23 January 2025
FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025 is set to welcome a record-breaking number of Smart Agri exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge innovations that are shaping the future of agriculture

From 5 to 7 February 2025 in Berlin, leading industry players and innovators will gather to demonstrate how digital technologies are transforming the cultivation, quality control and distribution of fresh produce. For trade visitors, the event offers a unique opportunity to witness the latest advances in agricultural technology.

The Smart Agri exhibition area in Hall 3.1 will feature 36 pioneering exhibitors from 18 countries, marking a significant increase over last year. These exhibitors will present AI technology for estimating fruit yields, software for farm management and quality control, sustainable and precise irrigation solutions, data-driven precision pollination, drones that are revolutionising agriculture, and much more.

A highlight of the event will be the two-day Smart Agri stage programme on the Farming Forward stage, featuring 24 presentations by leading companies on Wednesday, 5 and Thursday, 6 February. Moderated by the respected agricultural journalist Katie Gallus, the programme will kick off each morning with an introduction to the digital revolution in farming. The presentations will cover a wide range of topics, from advancing fruit quality control with non-invasive technologies to harnessing AI for greenhouse management and produce traceability. The programme will also feature in-depth discussions on the future of controlled environment agriculture and cutting-edge innovations for extending shelf life.

“With an expanded focus on digital technologies, FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025 provides a vital platform for exploring innovations that are driving the fresh produce sector,” said Kai Mangelberger, director of FRUIT LOGISTICA. “The Smart Agri exhibition will gather leading industry players to discuss solutions for efficient, profitable, and sustainable farming.”
