Hall of Apples, increasingly beautiful stores with the new VOG contest

12 February 2022
There is time until March 31 to participate in the international initiative that rewards the best exhibitions dedicated to apples conceived by retailers, wholesalers, and supermarkets.

More engaging and aesthetically pleasing displays, greater clarity in the shelf arrangement, and consumers who are increasingly satisfied with their shopping experience. These are the main objectives that the VOG Consortium aims to achieve with the new Hall of Apples international contest.

“We are very curious to see the ideas that will come to us directly from the stores,” says  Hannes Tauber, Marketing Manager of the VOG Consortium. "Some stores concentrate more on the attractiveness and creativity of the display, others on creating a geometric arrangement, which is clear and easy to read. Regardless, all retailers who have participated so far, without distinction, have grasped the spirit of the initiative, which aims to enhance the store with an assortment of apples that are pleasant to look at and easy to access".

The Hall of Apples contest rewards the best displays created in retail stores, at wholesalers, and in supermarkets, both small and medium (up to 1,500 m²) as well as large (over 1,500 m²) in Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Norway, Belgium, Malta, and Cyprus. Participants can request the most beautiful promotional materials from the VOG Consortium, starting with those of the Marlene® brand - with posters related to the autumn and winter seasons, in line with the new 2021/2022 communication campaign - but also POP and POS materials of the envy ™, Kanzi® and yello® brands.

An international jury of experts in the field of category management will decide the final winners considering specific requirements related to factors such as assortment, creativity of the display, and sales results obtained. The winners of the Hall of Apples will receive as prize a personalized display to showcase apples with a value ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 euros, depending on the category they belong to. Finally, regardless of the category, one winner per country will be selected for the best use of Marlene® materials related to the new campaign. These winners will receive a voucher for a two-person trip to South Tirol - Südtirol.

“There are still a number of weeks to go until the end of the contest and we hope that the great imagination of those participating in the Hall of Apples contest will make it particularly difficult for the jury to decide the final winners” concludes Hannes Tauber.

There is time until March 31, 2022, to participate in the competition. The photos of the displays must be uploaded to the website www.hallofapples.com.
