As part of the Europeanfruits campaign, co-financed by the European Union, the first on-site informational event in Poland was held in Warsaw for representatives of trade media, opinion leaders, and the agri-food sector. The meeting, organised at Mykonos Greek Restaurant & Bar, marked a new stage of the campaign’s activities in Poland, establishing direct dialogue with the market and stakeholders across the fresh fruit supply chain.
The Europeanfruits campaign is being implemented simultaneously in Greece, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Its main objective is to strengthen awareness of the high quality and safety standards applied in fresh fruit production within the European Union and to promote fruit as a key component of a modern, balanced, and sustainable diet.
During the event, the strategic framework of the project was presented, with a focus on the international competitiveness of European fruit, production transparency, and quality control systems “from farm to fork”.

A wide product range and stable supply support the development of long-term commercial partnerships.
Consuming at least 400 g of fruit and vegetables per day aligns with current health recommendations and wellness trends, contributing to the rising importance of this market segment.
The meeting concluded with a networking session and a tasting of fresh European kiwis, enabling further exchange of experiences among participants.
The Europeanfruits campaign will continue its communication and promotional activities in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Greece, reinforcing the position of European fruit as a synonym for quality, safety, and sustainable production.
