Opole Carp in a Modern Culinary Spotlight  

During EuroGastro 2026 in Warsaw, a unique three-day series of culinary demonstrations dedicated to promoting Opole Carp – one of the most valued regional products of Polish aquaculture – will take place. Organized by Euro-Toques Poland, the event will showcase the versatility of this fish and its potential in modern gastronomy, from traditional recipes to creative fine dining dishes and banquet concepts.

The demonstrations will be held on March 10–12, 2026, at Ptak Warsaw Expo (Hall F, Stand F2.05) and will include 10 live cooking presentations led by renowned chefs and industry experts. The initiative aims to highlight that carp can be an attractive menu ingredient all year round, not only during the holiday season.

 

Carp at the Center – Tradition Meets Innovation 

The program will present a wide range of culinary applications for Opole carp, including traditional regional dishes, game-inspired cuisine, Italian pasta concepts, and modern banquet-style appetizers. Chefs will demonstrate innovative preparation techniques, new flavor combinations, and practical solutions that can be implemented in fine dining restaurants, HoReCa operations, and event catering.

Live cooking sessions will be conducted by experienced chefs, including Kamil Klekowski, Patryk Buchta, Krzysztof Grabowski, Kinga Gall, Michał Rosiński, Rafał Folwarski, and Łukasz Bąk, who will share their expertise and practical insights into preparing and presenting this exceptional regional product.

 

Euro-Toques Poland – Promoting Culinary Excellence and Regional Products 

The event is organized by Euro-Toques Poland, the national branch of the prestigious European association of top chefs. The organization actively promotes regional products, traditional culinary heritage, and responsible gastronomy, while supporting young culinary talents and strengthening quality standards across the HoReCa sector.

Through initiatives such as live cooking demonstrations, Euro-Toques Poland plays an important role in promoting Polish regional products and enhancing their visibility both domestically and internationally.
