Multiple monitoring solutions – anytime, anywhere

22 January 2020

SITEM 2020 in Paris, 28 - 30 January, booth C7: T&D Corporation presents data logger solutions to support exhibitors in supervising climatic conditions

At SITEM 2020 Paris, T&D Corporation will be highlighting its monitoring solutions that are adaptable to individual needs, and ideally suited to logging various climatic conditions in exhibition spaces and museums. The Japanese market leader, reflecting on more than 25 years of expertise in advanced data logger solutions, will showcase their best-selling RTR-500 series and the Bluetooth featured TR-7 series, as well as suitable software applications. For customers, this means simple, error-free and cost-effective data management, regardless of time and place.

T&D’s portfolio consists of a wide range of compact data loggers which monitor various climatic parameters, making the devices perfect for museums and exhibition spaces. The data loggers in the RTR-500 family are designed for users who need high performance wireless logging, as well as optimal flexibility. The series includes 13 different types of loggers, such as the RTR-574-S, which simultaneously measure temperature, relative humidity and UV radiation. Thanks to its precision measurement ranges from 0 to 130klx, 0 to 30mW/cm², -25 to 70°C and 0 to 99% RH, the RTR-574-S provides high accuracy with minute deviations of ±2.5% RH, ±0.3°C, ±5% illuminance and UV intensity. For measuring the temperature, relative humidity and CO2 concentration in living environments, T&D developed the RTR-576-S, which has a measurement range from 0 to 9,999 ppm, -25 to 70 °C,  0 to 99 %RH and it provides accuracy with ±50ppm, ±5% reading, ±0.3°C, ±2.5% RH.

By connecting several data loggers to one base station via WLAN RTR-500AW, Wired LAN RTRT-500NW, USB RTR-500 and 3G Mobile Communication RTR-500MBS-A, large areas and several floors of an exhibition area can be monitored simultaneously. The RTR-500DC wireless portable data collector enables users to store data and manage up to 224 (in 7 groups) separate data loggers with one device. Ideal for museums and displays, the wireless data loggers are small and robust, and so can be installed next to artefacts, in freestanding glass showcases or in difficult-to-reach locations.

The new WLAN TR-7wb series with enhanced Bluetooth feature is designed for users who require a broad range of measurement tasks, and is perfectly suited to industrial and public use. Available as a wireless TR-7wb or wired TR-7nw device, it monitors temperature, humidity and climatic conditions in public buildings, as well as the storage of sensitive paintings or artefacts. The two-channel TR-72wb-S/nw-S measures temperatures and humidity from -25 to 70°C and 0 to 99% RH accuracy with ±2.5% RH and ±0.3°. Their high precision and wide scope of measurement capabilities, combined with complete flexibility, make the TR-7wb-S/nw-S data loggers perfect for monitoring cooling, heating and humidity in exhibition spaces. The simplicity of these devices allows for uncomplicated and cost-effective protection of various goods and processes too.

To complete its capabilities, T&D also offers a multi-functional and free of charge Cloud T&D WebStorage Service. Thanks to this feature, administrators need never again deal with acquisition, furnishing or maintenance issues. The WebStorage Service provides different options, such as the monitoring of current readings, automatic data downloads and warning notifications – and can be used on a computer or mobile device. The cloud enables data management regardless of time and location, and stores measured values on a central server. The free of charge T&D Graph allows you to read larger numbers of recorded data files in the same graph, merge data, view and save data in multiple ways, and use more effective tools for data management and analysis. What’s more, it is possible to directly download recorded data stored on the cloud. With over ten years of experience with cloud capabilities, the company guarantees simple and secure monitoring with their large portfolio of data loggers and software solutions.
