
4th International Congress and Exhibition “Mining of Uzbekistan and Central Asia” – Key Industry Leaders Confirm Participation

Senior executives representing major investment projects across the regional mining industry have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming 4th International Congress and Exhibition “Mining of Uzbekistan and Central Asia”, which will take place on 3–4 December 2025 in Tashkent.
The event is held with the official support of the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, bringing together government representatives, industry experts, investors, and technology providers from across Central Asia and beyond.
The congress will feature detailed presentations and discussions on large-scale mining and metallurgical projects currently shaping the region’s economic landscape, including:
Almalyk MMC – Construction of Copper Concentrating Plant No. 4 and related infrastructure as part of the Yoshlik I deposit development (Stage 2, Phase 1).
Timeline: until 2028 | Investment: $5.3 billion USD
Navoi MMC – Ongoing Muruntau Quarry Development Project (Stage 5), one of the largest gold mining operations globally.
Timeline: until 2030 | Investment: $482 million USD
Altynalmas – Modernisation of production at the Aksu Mine.

KazMetalGroup – Development and extraction of nickel-cobalt ores from the Kempirsai deposit group, and construction of a nickel and cobalt sulfate production plant.
