ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 7-9 September 2016, Hong Kong

11 May 2016
The online ticket shop for ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA – Asia’s fresh produce hub – is now open. Visitors can purchase their tickets online at www.asiafruitlogistica.com/tickets and make up to a 40 per cent saving on their entrance fee compared with tickets purchased on the door.

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is the place to meet and do business with Asia’s biggest and best gathering of the international fresh fruit and vegetable business under one roof.

A record 9,200 trade visitors from 70 different countries attended ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2015. More than two-thirds of these visitors came from Asia, demonstrating the strong interest and engagement in the show from trade professionals across the region.

“ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA allows participants to have many valuable meetings with key buyers around the region in just a few days,” said Jeff Correa, international marketing director of Pear Bureau Northwest.

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is gearing up for an even bigger exhibition this year when it returns to Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo Center on 7-9 September for its tenth anniversary edition.

Latest exhibitor numbers and booked exhibition space are both up by 10 per cent compared with this stage last year. Exhibitors from 35 different countries have signed up to showcase their products and services, with some 21 national pavilions registered. Space is selling fast but stand bookings can still be made. Application forms are available to download from the official website: www.asiafruitlogistica.com/en/ExhibitorService/ApplicationForms/

Information-packed programme

While the exhibition is the core of the ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA business week, visitors can take part in a rich programme featuring three top conference events, which complement the unique business opportunities with best information and networking.

It all gets under way with the ASIAFRUIT CONGRESS, Asia’s premier fresh conference event, which takes place on 6 September, the day before ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA opens its doors.

On the first day of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA (7 September), COOL LOGISTICS ASIA, the conference dedicated to perishable logistics, returns for its second edition.

New for 2016 and taking place on the second day (8 September) is SMART HORTCULTURE ASIA – the first-ever conference for information management, standards, technology and robotics for Asia’s fresh fruit and vegetable sector.

Each day of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, visitors can also join a series of free daily show-floor workshops at the Asiafruit Business Forum with simultaneous translation in English, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean.

The best access
Visitors can make the most of the week in Hong Kong by purchasing a ‘perishable week’ pass, which includes delegate entry to ASIAFRUIT CONGRESS, COOL LOGISTICS ASIA and SMART HORTICULTURE ASIA as well as a three-day pass to ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA and the Welcome Reception on 6 September.

Alternatively, delegates can tailor their own access pass choosing between ASIAFRUIT CONGRESS, COOL LOGISTICS ASIA and SMART HORTICULTURE ASIA. Each of these delegate passes includes a three-day ticket to ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA and the Welcome Reception.

Other ticket options are also available, including three-day and one-day passes for ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA.
